Nutrition Nutritional balance plays a key role in optimal wellness, chronic disease prevention and managing the aging process. Eating a balanced diet, exercising and taking a multivitamin is simply not enough. Medical research has shown that food allergy and sensitivity can be at the root cause and can manifest in an array of painful symptoms and chronic health problems. Micronutrient testing offers the most accurate, scientifically proven method of assessing nutritional deficiencies. Micronutrient tests measure the function of 35 nutritional components including vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and amino acids within our white blood cells. Scientific evidence shows us that analyzing the white blood cells gives us the most accurate analysis of a body's deficiencies.
Hormone Balance Testing Like nutrients, hormones influence all aspects of health and disease - mood, sleep, metabolism, immunity, heart health and appearance. Hormones are chemical messengers that are secreted directly into the blood, which carries them to organs and tissues of the body to exert their functions. An imbalance of one hormone can initiate a cascade of events that alters other hormones, so a comprehensive look at hormone status is key.
Hormone imbalance can have an affect on the entire body causing health conditions and symptoms such as:
Fatigue & energy levels
Cardiovascular health (blood pressure, clotting, lipids)
Neurology (migraines, sleep, pain)
Mental health (depression, anxiety, cognitive function)
Immunity (infections, autoimmune disease)
Metabolism (blood sugar regulation, tissue repair)
Bone density (osteoporosis)
Physical appearance (skin, muscles, hair)
Cardiometabolic Test Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death. Standard cholesterol tests can miss that YOU are at risk. The CardioMetabolic test offers a clinically relevant evaluation to help define risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), progression toward Type 2 Diabetes, and inflammation.
Who should take the CardioMetabolic Test or Pre-Diabetes Risk Panel?
All patients, and especially those who:
Have a family history of heart disease or diabetes
Have been diagnosed with heart disease or diabetes
Are already taking cholesterol-lowering medications
Have been diagnosed with high blood pressure
Have high LDL - the bad cholesesterol
Have low HDL - the good cholesterol
Have high triglycerides
Are you ready to take control of your cardiovascular health?
If so, the CardioMetabolic Risk Panel is the test that could save your life.
Genetic Genetic testing involves examining your DNA, the chemical database that carries instructions for your body's functions. Genetic testing can reveal changes or alterations in your genes that may cause illness or disease.
Mediator Release Test - MRT / LEAP MRT is the most accurate test available today for anyone with chronic conditions associated with inflammation, allergies, eczema, GI issues like Crohn's, colitis, IBS and much more!
Research on MRT® confirms this. Studies with the University of Miami and research presented at major medical conferences show that MRT® is able to distinguish between symptomatic and asymptomatic populations, that MRT® correlates with inflammation and symptoms, that diets based on MRT® show significant symptom reduction, and that MRT® has excellent real-world reproducibility. Conversely, a large body of research has shown that elevated mechanisms in food sensitivity, such as food-specific IgG or immune complexes, do not reliably correlate with inflammation or symptoms.
MRT® is a functional measurement of diet-induced sensitivity pathways. Not only does MRT® give insight into inflammation provoking foods and food chemicals, but more importantly MRT® identifies your BEST foods - the foods that form the basis of a specific Eating Plan. Simply put, MRT® gives you information you can't get any other way. That information directly translates into targeted therapy that matters. MRT® is the foundation of fully addressing food sensitivities and achieving the maximum outcomes in the shortest period of time. Our RDN, Lori Lee, is credentialed as a Certified MRT/LEAP Therapist and Functional Medicine RDN and offers comprehensive MRT services.
